It was a beautiful day and we wanted to make the most of it. Nearby we have a Nature Center that Dan and the kids had noticed when they were biking a while ago. We thought it would be fun to check it out.
There were lots of wildflowers and we were greeted with these cute turtles basking in the sun.
First we walked through the nature center which had owls, frogs, turtles, spiders, fish, and lots of other fun things to look at, then we walked around on the paths. The kids had so much fun spotting all sorts of animals.
We found these awesome mushrooms!
Squirt had a ton of fun, too. He especially loved the bumpy trails.
The loved finding the frogs. In the pond you could only see their little noses sticking up out of the water.
Mason was a trooper riding his bike with dad.
Sophia had the best seat in the house and this was how she looked by the time Dan got back to our house.
We call that...success!
