Christmas Eve

Well, I was trying to catch up on all that has happened....but there is just too much and I am so far behind. But, I thought I would throw in a few pics of Christmas and our fun! We spent the holiday in Huntsville at Dan's sister's cabin. Unfortunately, Dan's mom slipped on the ice a couple of days before Christmas and had a concussion, so they didn't make it up here 'til a couple of days after Christmas. But, the rest of Dan's family was there for the week and it was a ton of fun. We played games and watched tons of movies and had several feet of snow. It was literally a winter wonderland!

We went up to Snow Basin for their Christmas Eve party. They had Santa ride down the ski hill on a snowmobile, which the kids got a kick out of.

They had fireworks...

which Sophi watched and said, "whoa" to each firework as it exploded.

And of course, SANTA! Sophi freaked out when Dan tried to put her on Santa's lap, so she's not included in the picture. It was so cold and snowy, but tons of fun. They had a yummy looking Christmas Eve dinner of turkey, but the line for it was an hour long wait, so we took the kids to sit on Santa's lap, then went back to the cabin for grilled cheese and tomato soup!

I asked who was ready for Santa....and this was their response. Talk about excited kids. Aunt Mari read them The Night Before Christmas, we left out the milk and cookies and all kiddies were tucked in bed sleeping by 9:30.
