Of course, the boys favorite part was when they got to touch the sting rays. Parker was in the water up to his armpits. After the aquarium we got tickets to the new Indiana Jones movie. The boys LOVED it (and were also a little freaked out in some parts). Probably not the best show to take them to, but no going back now! And, equally as fun, we ate at Joe's Crab shack where the kids played on the toys.
Grandma and grandpa stopped by on their way through to give Mason his birthday present. When they pulled up they asked who had died on our driveway. Mason and Parker got really excited to show her their masterpieces and Parker walks up and says, "You gotta lay down!" My mom just laughs thinking it will pass, but oh no, Parker very persistantly says, "grandma, you gotta lay down." Grandpa, Dan and I about died laughing! Thanks, mom, for being such a great sport! It made their day to get to draw grandma on the pavement.
So, not exactly what we had planned for the weekend, but we had a great time. Its nice to just roll with the punches every once in a while.

It was lame how much it rained on Monday huh! We sounded just like you guys...trying desperately to find something to do with the kids. I didn't even think of the aquarium . DUH! I'm adding that to my rainy-day-of-stuff-to-do list!
