Squaaaashhhh.

One day Dan's brother and and his wife were over at our house. Their little girl was about 8 months old and rolling around on the floor and Sophi walked over to her and put her foot on her stomach and pushed down saying, "squaaashhh!" Of course now we can laugh about it, but this time it was her turn to get squashed. With all of the details a bit fuzzy we have concluded that she was running up the stairs playing crazy with the boys and tripped on the top stair sending her face first into the wall. Dan and I were in the bedroom close by setting up the crib for Sawyer and heard the thud.....then scream. It looks like she hit right on her upper lip and jammed her nose up toward her face. It turned blue and swelled up along with her lip and the tip of her nose, but surprisingly...no blood.
I thought for sure we'd wake up to black eyes but didn't. We figured we'd wait for the swelling to go down to see if we needed to take her to the doctor and its continually gotten better. Today it was hardly noticeable at church as the bruising is turning green and yellow.

It gave us quite a scare but she is one tough cookie. Rarely does she let an "owie" slow her down.
